5 Star Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe
Thanksgiving is right around the corner. You may be heading to the stores to get all your ingredients for your special dinner. This 5 star sweet potato casserole recipe is a must have! This recipe delivers the creamy, sweet, delicious taste everyone loves. I made this recipe for my family last week and it was a hit. This recipe is so good, you may NOT have any leftovers.
- 6 Big Sweet Potatoes
- 1/3 Cup White Sugar
- ½ Tsp of Salt
- 4 Tbsp of Butter (or butter alternative)
- ½ Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3-1/2 Cup Milk (or milk alternative)
- 2 Eggs
- ½-1 Cup Chopped Pecans
- ½ Brown Sugar
- ½ Bag of Mini Marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Peel all sweet potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Add them to boiling water. Let them cook until softened (about 15 mins) and then strain them. Put them into your mixing bowl and add the white sugar, butter, salt, vanilla extract milk, and eggs. Mix until creamy. Grease a 9” x 5” pan and pour the sweet potatoes in there. Add marshmallows to the top. Sprinkle brown sugar and pecans on the top. Bake for 10-15 mins or until marshmallows are browning on the top. Cool and they are ready to serve.
