As a parent, I am sure you feel the grind of parenthood. But what if you had something that would help in one aspect of your day? What if you could make dinners easier? Today, I am going to be talking about Instant Pots.
Why Instant Pot?
Do you have an Instant Pot or wonder what is so fantastic about them? Instant Pots can be a mom’s (or dad’s) best friend! They make life so much easier. An Instant Pot combines multiple kitchen appliances into 1 simple appliance. It allows you to pressure cook, slow cook, sauté, make yogurt, and steam. Need to make the best rice ever in 10 minutes…yep, it can do that too!
I have had our Instant Pot for over a year now, and I love it! I love it, because I can put frozen ingredients (yes including meat) and cook whatever I want in less than 2 hours. The best part about it is once I put on the settings, there is nothing I need to do to it until it is done cooking. It also will keep the food warm setting until dinner time.
The best thing about an Instant Pot is that because it can cook frozen food so quickly, it cuts down on eating out. I don’t know about you, but it seems we eat out when we have nothing for dinner. If we didn’t plan for dinner and lay meat out; we tend to say “Well let’s just eat out. We have nothing for dinner.” But the thing with the Instant Pot is, you can’t use that excuse because it can cook a whole frozen pot roast with veggies in 2-2.5hours! It can also cook soups or a chicken dinner in 45 minutes. Can we say AMAZING!?!
