German Schnitzel
This is a very tasty easy recipe to make a German style Schnitzel. Schnitzel can be made with a variety of meat, but most often it is made with pork. This recipe is gluten free. Wheat flour can be substituted if needed.
Schnitzel

- 6 pieces Boneless Pork Chops
- 4-5 eggs
- 2 Tbsp McCormick Smokehouse Maple
- 1 cup Flour (Can sub Gluten Free Flour)
- 4 cups oil
- 1 Lemon or Lemon Juice (For Garnish on top)
- 3 cups Bread Crumbs (4C Crumbs are recommended)
Instructions:
We use 4C Crumbs Gluten Free Plain Bread Crumbs for Gluten Free Schnitzel.

Flatten the pork chops with a meat mallet to the thickness of 1/6-1/4 inches thick.

Whip the eggs together and add them into a container that is wide enough for the meat. Pour bread crumbs and the Smokehouse Maple into a second container. Add flour onto a plate or in a third container.
Go ahead start heating up your oil in a pan.
First coat the pork chops in flour, then drip it into the egg, and thirdly into the bread crumbs. Once all are coated, cook one at a time in your pan. It takes us about 2-3 minutes on each side to fully cook the pork. Double check your pork is above 160 degrees.
